Presentation Abstract |
About the Program:
Thinking Clockwise, The Mind of an
Innovator
What do
scientists, babies, explorers and
successful entrepreneurs all have in
common? The patterns they use to think
and act. The process of creativity,
discovery and innovation can be
described as a well-defined sequence
or patterns—a pattern anyone can adopt
by making a simple mental shift.
Bringing out the best in ourselves and
others and cultivating our best ideas
means being able to make this shift.
A 2007 Survey of
senior business executives involved in
innovation ranked “Ability to create a
climate that continuously fosters
innovation” as the number one
attribute of an innovative company.
Are you promoting an
innovation-friendly climate? Are you
personally generating fresh insights
and leading your people to discover
great ideas? Are you leveraging those
ideas and using them to fuel
profitable growth?
Participants will:
1)
Gain fresh insights into how to
think innovatively.
2) Discover
how knowledge and personal expertise
can actually become a handicap, and
how to overcome it.
3) Identify
and leverage behaviors that promote
creativity and innovation on a team
and throughout an organization.
4) Appreciate
the critical importance of innovative
leadership for getting the most out of
people, addressing problems and
managing effective organizations. |
