As president, I look forward to working with the board to address the things planned for this year. And also with our much appreciated volunteers, without whom we couldn't even ‘keep the wheels on.'

Here are just a few things members can look forward to in 2010:

• Expansion of our chapter meeting offerings (both location and variety).
• Professional Development Conference.
• Continued ‘tweaks' to our new websites.

The board will be working on several significant projects, including revamping our volunteer structure, and a By-Law rewrite that will help us move the board to a more ‘strategic' focus and allow us to appoint ‘director' level volunteers to address tactical items.

Past due diligence has kept the chapter in sound financial condition, so that even in these difficult economic times the chapter is well situated to provide valuable (yet affordable) educational and professional assistance to the project management community that resides within the PMI-CIC area.
