Message from the New Chapter President : 2010 promises to be a challenging and exciting year for PMI-CIC!
As president, I look forward to working with the board to address the things planned for this year. And also with our much appreciated volunteers, without whom we couldn't even ‘keep the wheels on.'

Chapter Partners with Peoria Dale Carnegie® Training : Bringing world class leadership training to our central Illinois members!
Leadership Training for Project Managers
Dale Carnegie is now a PMI® Registered Education Provider and offering the first workshop of its kind in central Illinois. We are thrilled to be working with Steve Grant to bring you a leadership program which combines the proven results of the Dale Carnegie approach and the context of our PM Body of Knowledge.
This pilot program is being offered to ONLY PMI-CIC members and will be launched in Springfield.

PDU Reporting Process to Change for Chapter Meetings: To claim PDUs, please follow the instructions below:
- Log into www.PMI.org/CCRS with your username and password.
- Click "Report Professional Development Units". Select Category 3.
- Select "Report a Component 1-2 PDU Event". Click Next.
Please note, you should only select this option for PDUs taken from a PMI Component that have not been registered in the course list under "Find an Activity."
- You can enter component ID (C190) and clicking search bar.
- Click on highlight C190 (blue text) and enter the requested information Component Activity Information.
- If no phone number is given, you may enter in all ones to satisfy the field.
- If no contact person is given, please write "N/A" in this field. Click Next.
- Enter the number of PDUs you have earned. You may only enter a number between 1-2.
- On the final page, verify that your claim is accurate and correct and click submit.
